There are two Mizoram Houses in Delhi located in Vasant Vihar and Chanakyapuri localities of Delhi and out of the two, one can be used as COVID-19 Care Centre for infected positive patients from the state, said Mizoram Chief Minister Zoramthanga on Wednesday.

“A Mizoram house at Vasant Vihar will be used as Covid-19 Care Centre for Covid-19 infected positive patients from the state to take rest. We will take measure to make it function as an Intensive Care Unit (ICU),” Zoramthanga posted on his official Instagram handle.

The officials and leaders of Delhi Mizo welfare were requested to make arrangements.

The doctors and nurses from Mizoram residing in Delhi were urged by the chief minister to use of their capabilities and start the service accordingly.

“We will try our best for our people. It is time for us to fight the pandemic together,” he said.
