Assam: CM accuses Congress of plotting coup against Prime Minister Narendra Modi

CM accuses

By planning the recent security breach in Punjab, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Assam CM accuses the Congress of plotting a conspiracy to assassinate Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Assam’s Chief Minister accused Punjab Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi of this and demanded his immediate arrest.

Sarma claimed that the road blockade in front of the PM’s convoy on that day was part of a plot to kill the PM, based on a sting operation by a news channel.

He claimed that the news channel’s sting operation proved that the entire situation of the day was a paid advertisement.

He went on to say that the blockade was more than just a farmers’ protest; it was a conspiracy, and the Punjab government was fully complicit.

“The Punjab Chief Minister should be removed from his seat and arrested immediately,” he added.

Sarma claimed that the PM’s convoy was only a few kilometres from the Pakistan border, and that it was vulnerable to missiles, drone attacks, and even snipers.

He claimed that the conspiracy included radical groups such as “Khalistanis.”

Yogi Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, stated the same thing, claiming that PM Modi’s security breach during his visit to Punjab was a pre-planned sponsored conspiracy.

He went on to say that the Punjab government had broken protocol and that Congress should apologise to the country.
