Assam’s schools Reopen for 10th grade with certain precautions

Assam’s schools returned for Class 10 pupils on Monday after a long hiatus. To avoid Covid19 infection, certain precautions have been implemented in schools.

Apart from disinfecting the school buildings and classrooms, the government has mandated that the classes follow the Covid standards.

Students at Teok Jyoti Vidyapeeth, a prestigious school in Teok, Assam’s Jorhat district, are looking forward to seeing their friends and teachers after a lengthy absence.

Handwashing and temperature checking stations have been set up at the school’s main entrance.

Before the start of the lessons, the students were also given an introduction to Covid19. According to the students, online classes are not as good as classroom instruction.
