Adil Hussain, an internationally renowned Assamese actor, will portray a doctor in a sequel to the well-loved Assamese film Dr Bezbaruah.

Dr Bezbaruah (1969) is a film directed by Brajen Barua that was released 50 years ago.

Rajdweep, an Assamese screenwriter, dramatist, and lyricist who was recently honoured by a jury that includes Aamir Khan and Rajkumar Hirani, is now working on a sequel to this classic Assamese film as a screenwriter.

Rajdweep’s fourth Assamese film as a scriptwriter is ‘Dr Bezbarua 2.’
