Tana Hali Tara, a Doimukh MLA, has stated that work on the Itanagar-Jote two-lane expressway will begin next month. He told the reporters on Tuesday that the tender process is nearing completion and that work will begin soon.
“After I made a plea, Chief Minister Pema Khandu agreed to fund the Itanagar-Jote road because of its importance,” says the author.
I’ve been assigned to supervise the job by the CM, and I’ll keep a close eye on it. The MLA stated, “Quality will not be sacrificed.”
Meanwhile, a PWD Doimukh division official confirmed that the technical and financial bid processes were finished. The official stated, “It is being sent for final approval.”
The Itanagar to Jote road is the state government’s first two-lane highway project. It stretches for 20 kilometres and is expected to cost Rs 89 crore.
“A total of 60 culverts will be installed. The second phase would include the construction of four major bridges, according to the PWD official.
