Arunachal CM Khandu Visits Indo-Tibetan Border to Boost Morale of Jawans 

Arunachal Pradesh CM Khandu on Monday visited the Yangtze Post at an altitude of 1500 ft along the Indo-Tibet China border in Tawang LAC and further addressed the Indian Soldiers Posted along the Line of Actual Control.

During the visit, Chief Miniter Pema Khandu was accompanied by top ranking State Government officials, including Chief Secretary Naresh Kumar and Planning Commissioner Prashant Lokhande.

CM Pema Khandu was seen interacting with the Indian Armed Forces Jawans who are keeping strict vigil at the borders foiling nefarious attempts of the enemy and guarding the frontiers at Yangtze and Chuna in Tawang LAC.

It is to be mentioned that CM Khandu is on a three day visit 3-day visit to the India-Tibet China border in Tawang LAC. He will also be visiting villagers of Mago and Thingbu village located in the bordering area.

He tweeted, “The determination and courage of our jawans are praiseworthy who are putting up a brave front in guarding the icy heights of the border”.

The Indian troops and Chinese PLA were reportedly engaged in a face-off along the Indo-Tibet China border. The face-off happened between the border pass of Yangtze and Bum La when the Indian Army intercepted around 200 soldiers of the Chinese PLA.

The engagement reportedly lasted for a few hours before the issue was resolved at a local commander-level-talk.
