Arunachal Pradesh Education Minister Taba Tedir laid the foundation stone for infrastructure development of Govt Higher Secondary School under Lower Subansiri district on Tuesday. The project at an estimated cost of Rs. 1110 lakh in the first phase aimed at changing the face of the school after execution by the engineering wing of the education department.
Appreciating the school for producing many good bureaucrats of Yachuli assembly constituency, the Tedir said that it was the outcome of quality education of the school. The education department has posted the highest number of teachers to the school as requested by the public. Similarly, “I have also provided drinking water facility and teachers; quarters under MLA-LAD fund”, he said..
While advocating proper utilization of funds for greater public interest, he said that there should not be any compromise on quality of any developmental work.
He later visited the primary health centre (PHC) and attended a development meeting
