Arunachal: Changlang’s Credit-Deposit ratio is too low, says DC

Changlang Deputy Commissioner Dr Devansh Yadav expressed worry about the district’s low CD (Credit-Deposit) ratio and recommended banks to develop strategies to meet priority sector lending targets.

He also asked bank managers to support the district’s SHG bank linkage activity. He further requested that part of the SHG accounts be transferred to the Apex Bank by the NERCORMP.

Dr Yadav was addressing at SBI’s Lead Bank Office’s Pre-Potential Linked Credit Plan (PLP) and district consultation committee cum district level review committee meeting for the quarter ends of March and June 2021, which was held on Wednesday in Changlang district.

He also advised the Industries Department to follow up with bank branches to settle issues relating to the PMEGP plan.
