Around 20 people were killed and nine others injured as flash floods and landslides struck Indonesia’s East Nusa Tenggara province on Sunday. Along with that, five persons are also reported missing.
The Flores Timur district at about 1 a.m., witnessed the natural disaster.
It buried dozens of houses, swept away several others and damaged a bridge, according to sources.
All the injured persons are being admitted in nearby health clinics. The meteorology and geophysics agency has forecast heavy rains, strong winds and huge waves within a week.
